ศึกษานี้พบเทอริ โดไฟด์ที่ไม่เคยมีรายงานมาก่อนในจังหวัดชัยภูมิ จำนวน 101 ชนิด พบเทอริโดไฟต์ ที่มีสถานภาพเป็นพืชมีแนวโน้มใกล้สูญพันธุ์ 2 ชนิด ได้แก่ กูดกู Christella siamensis (Iagawa &K.Iwats) Holttum และเฟิร์นหิรัญฎหลวง Pteris phuluangensis Tagawa & K.Iwats. นอกจากนี้เฟิร์นหิรัญภูหลวงยังมีสถานภาพเป็นพืชถิ่นเดียวที่เคยมีรายงานการพบจากเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าภูหลวง จังหวัดเลยเท่านั้น อีกทั้งยังพบ Axhyrium p. ที่มีความเป็นไปได้ว่าจะเป็นพืชรายงานใหม่ของประเทศไทยหรือพืชชนิดใหม่ของโลก

Abstract

     The study of pteridophyte diversity in Phu Khiao Wildlife Sanctuary, Chaiyaphum Province is presented. A total of 229 specimens of pteridophytes were collected and identified to 128 species from 59 genera and 26 families. Among these, 8 species, 3 genera and 2 families are lyco-phytes, the remaining majority being monilophytes or ferns. Pteridaceae and Polypodiaceae are the most common families with 25 and 20 species, respectively. In regard to habitat types, the species can be classified into 4 groups: terrestrial (82 species), epiphyte (25 species), lithophyte (10 species) and aquatic plant (1 species), Although 10 species were found in more than one habitat. One hundred and one species were recorded as new for the flora of Chaiyaphum Province. Two species namely Christella siamensis (Tagawa & K.Iwats.) Holtum and Pteris phuluangensis Tagawa & K.Iwats. are vulnerable species. Moreover, the latter is endemic species and was only reported from Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary, Loei Province. In addition, Athyrium sp. could be new record to Thailand or species new to science.
